“The grass withers, the flowers fade when the breath of the LORD blows on them; indeed, the people are grass” (Isa. 40:7)

Life is but a moment. The breath in your lungs isn’t eternal; you’re simply a pilgrim passing through this world. Don’t forget that what you see in front of you is only temporary.

The way you live your life on earth echoes in eternity. Every decision, every action, every moment will be weighed. It’s imperative that you learn to live with eternity in mind, not simply for your own sake, but for the sake of generations that will follow you, generations you’ll never see with your own eyes.

Every life lived on earth leaves a mark; that mark can either be inconsequential, or it can be the fuel that propels others into greatness.

You were made for more than what you see with your eyes. You have the great responsibility of translating the heart of God to humanity — and this looks different for every person, as He has endowed each of His children with unique gifts.

It’s those very gifts God Himself placed inside of you that He wants you to use to bear His image to the world. Live your life in such a way that your legacy will both challenge and inspire others to do the same.
